The oxygen stoichiometry, unit cell parameters and resistivity of YBa2(CUl_xFex)307_y ix= 0-0.08) samples were studied. The model of oxygen rearrangement expTainFng the observed effects of doping by Fe was proposed.

Single crystals (Yo.33Bao.67)s(Cuo.94Feo.o4Alo.o2)z.ssOT-y were studied by means of Mossbauer spectroscopy before and after annealing in oxygen. One found the evidence of Fe substitution both in Cul and Cu2 positions. The main component of EFG tensor in Cu2 position Uzz=-5.8(1)xl021V/m 2 .
