✦ Synopsis

This conference is being organized by the Particle Size Analysis Group of the Analytical Division of the Chemical Society. It is envisaged that all aspects of particle characterisation will be covered. These include measurement of particle size distribution (including droplet and aerosol sizing) and surface area; measurement of single particle characteristics such as shape and pore size distribution; associated ancilliary techniques; such as sampling, dispersion and particle density measurement; and the application of particle characterisation methods in the applied sciences such as pharmaceuticals, ceramics, powder metallurgy, etc. This list is not to be regarded as complete but merely to illustrate the type of coverage that is envisaged.
