✦ Synopsis

Partial specific volume, f0, of each member of a series of poly(thiocarbonates) derived from Bisphenol-A with chlorophenyl or dichlorophenyl side-groups was determined by density measurements. The influence of the location of the chlorine atom in the phenyl ring on t~ is discussed. We have also studied the effects of temperature, solvent and molecular weight of the polymer on this behaviour.
