Most reported familial cases of agenesis of the corpus callosum have followed either an autosomal recessive or an X-linked recessive pattern of inheritance. To the best of our knowledge, there is only one previous report of a family showing clear-cut autosomal dominant inheritance. We present the se

A. INTRODUCTION
Congenital defects of the cerebellum have been described in animals only ocCasionally and such cases in which a clinical examination was possible are rather rare. Recent reviews of such material have been given by Brouwer ( '34) and by Dow ( '40). From these reviews and their own papers it is obvious that especially in cats cerebellar cortical aplasia occurs, sometimes combined with an olivo-pontine aplasia while in dogs some cases of midline defect of the cerebellum have been described.
I n the cases here reported a similar midline defect was present, combined with a medullary malformation and an agenesis of the corpus callosum, a combination hitherto underscribed in the literature.
B. MATERIAL AND METHODS
This paper is based on the clinical and anatomical examination of a goat, born at the agricultural colony for mental defectives, ' 'Lenteng Agoeng, " near Batavia. When about 1 month old, the animal was brought to my laboratory by Dr. Kho Tjok Khing, medical inspector of that colony. The parents and the other siblings were normal. No other such cases had been noticed at the colony during the preceding 3 years. The animal lived at the laboratory from October 5, 49
