New facility strengthens John Crane turbomachinery presence in Asia
The opening of a new gas seal service and repair facility in India has underlined the commitment of John Crane to this important and rapidly expanding market.
The move represents a significant strengthening of the John Crane facility in Bangalore which the company opened last year. This additional ยฃ200,000 investment project will enhance the ability to support the growing number of turbomachinery users in the region. The centre is now able to offer Asian customers significant reductions in turnaround times on gas seal repair and maintenance projects. When added to other investment that has been provided for the Bangalore Centre, the addition of the new facility takes the total investment to well over ยฃ2.95m. Single, double and tandem seals can all be accommodated, up to 220 mm. The test rig can operate at pressure up to 200bar
