โฆ Synopsis
The constraints of parity conservation on the observable-amplitude structure of an arbitrary four-particle reaction with arbitrary values of spins are derived in the optimal transversity formalism. Of the submatrices of size 8-by-g, 4-by-4, 2-by-2, and l-by-l, some vanish, and some reduce from size n-by-n to n/2-by-n/2. The numbers of each type of submatrix are given. The results are useful in the determination of reaction amplitudes, in the testing of dynamical mechanisms, and in the imposition of constraints by additional symmetries.
