✦ Synopsis
We present a parallel algorithm for the simulation of dense lattice polymer systems. The algorithm will be given for a two-dimensional system although the algorithm can be generalized to higher dimensions. We discuss timing results and applications.

## Abstract The discrete element method (DEM) enables modeling of the behavior of granular materials and rock masses via the interaction of elements, as the whole model deforms under the applied loading. As a starting point of any DEM simulation, the computational domain needs to be filled with dis
In this paper, we present several new and generalized parallel dense matrix multiplication algorithms of the form C = αAB + βC on two-dimensional process grid topologies. These algorithms can deal with rectangular matrices distributed on rectangular grids. We classify these algorithms coherently int
