โœฆ Synopsis

In this paper, we discuss the parallel computation of the sensitivity analysis of systems of differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) with a moderate number of state variables and a large number of sensitivity parameters. Several parallel implementations based on DASSLSO are explored and their performance when using the Message Passing Interface (MPI) on an SGI Origin 2000 is compared.

## Numerical experiments with parallel two-step W-methods for DAEs We study the numerical behavior of parallel two-step W-methods (PTSW methods) applied to index 2 and index 3 DAE test-problems. In this experiments we do not observe an order reduction in the differential components of the solution

This paper presents the implementation of advanced domain decomposition techniques for parallel solution of large-scale shape sensitivity analysis problems. The methods presented in this study are based on the FETI method proposed by Farhat and Roux which is a dual domain decomposition implementatio
