✦ Synopsis

In this paper, a track-while-scan filter algori .flun. developed b.y using pseudomeasuremems is p.r~ed, and its structure cornpami with other filter algorithms such as constant gmn filters, and extended Kalman flitch (EKF). The proposed filter is based on the ixmudo-linear stmctuse of measurements obtained by transforming the original nonlinear measurements of target range, az~nuth, and radial velofity from a search radar. The algorithm is compotationally efficinnt and bias-free, and provides satisfactory performance. Unbiased characteristics of the ptepmed filter are analyzed theoretically: Monte Carlo simt/latlon results are Included to demonstrate ]ts effectiveness, compared with other filter algorithms.
