Industries in general and automotive industries in particular, use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for better solutions to the engineering problems they encounter. The reliability of the Finite Element method can be improved to a larger extent by Adaptive Finite Element Analysis (AFEA). As we look tow

An adaptive finite element-boundary element algorithm is proposed to compute an approximate solution of a given boundary value problem. The convergence in H 1 (O) is controlled by a boundary element based a-posteriori error estimator from which an adaptive refinement strategy is derived. Correspondi

An adaptive meshing based on the r-method is developed for two-dimensional unsteady non-linear flows with a free surface. Coupling of a boundary element equation and a weighted residual formulation of the pressure equation on the free surface is employed in solving the wave problems. A mesh optimiza
