✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A new technique is described for the experimental implantation of material subcutaneously into the rabbit ear's auricula without having to cut the skin at the surface of the site. This technique is important because the integument's vascular suppy to the implantation site is not severed as it is with other implantation techniques. The techique consists of resecting all the tissue except one integument from a circular site on each of the rabbit's auriculae. Then the two auriculae are parabiosed at these sites with the implant inserted between them.
