The Saab JAS39 Grippen is a multi role fighter, single seat, single engine, light weight
and delta-canard aircraft. It was developed in the 80βs to replace the Swedish
Drakens and the Viggens. It first flew in 1988. The Grippen is flying in Sweeden,
Czech Republic, Hungary, South Africa and Thailand.
