## Abstract This paper discusses a routing scheme for an autonomous distributed wireless network (mobile ad‐hoc networking) using an ultra‐wideband (UWB) system. The UWB system is a kind of spread‐spectrum communication system which has the function of measuring the distance between the transmitter
