## Abstract The 8p11โ21 region is a frequent target of alterations in breast cancer and other carcinomas. We surveyed 34 breast tumor cell lines and 9 pancreatic cancer cell lines for alterations of this region by use of multicolor fluorescence in situ hybridization (MโFISH) and BACโspecific FISH.

Background Following receptor-mediated endocytosis, vector/DNA complexes require assistance to exit endocytic vesicles in order to avoid degradation in the lysosomes. Overcoming this barrier is a major challenge for the development of receptor-targeted, non-viral gene delivery. ## Methods The fus
## Abstract Some human tumors express known antigens that can be utilized as targets for specific immunotherapy. An absolute requirement for the efficacy of this therapeutic strategy is an adequate expression of the candidate antigen by all cells of the primary and metastatic tumor. To examine the

## Abstract ## BACKGROUND. In previous experimental models, because of its ability to inhibit the activity of plateletโderived growth factor ฮฒ receptor, imatinib decreased the interstitial fluid pressure and improved the delivery and efficacy of anticancer drugs, including fluorouracil. The object
