✦ Synopsis

The carbonylative coupling of aniline derivatives (1a±h) with terminal aryl acetylenes (2a, b) catalyzed by Pd(OAc) 2 and 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) under syngas conditions aords acrylamide derivatives 3 or 3 H in excellent yields and selectivities.
