Abstract

Pair‐correlation functions for liquid Cu, Ag, and Au are calculated via a numerical iterative solution of the Percus‐Yevick equation using solid‐state pair potentials derived from first‐principles resonant model potential theory. Results are compared with experimental data and theoretical values obtained via the optimized random phase approximation.
