✦ Synopsis

In this paper the Painlev6 test of a generalized Burgers' equation containing an arbitrary function of time that describes nonuniformity effects is performed. Moreover the Lie group techniques allowing one to characterize some classes of functional forms for the arbitrary function and the related similarity solutions are applied.
