Pacific Fuel Cell wins initial plate orders C alifornia-based component manufacturer Pacific Fuel Cell has received purchase orders valued at more than $200,000 for bipolar plates (BPPs) from six leading companies across different segments of the fuel cell industry. The company says that each of the six customers is in a leading position in the stationary, portable, micro or commercial fuel cell segments.

'Although not significant in terms of dollars, [this] represents an important step in our company's development, as it attests to Pacific Fuel Cell's ability to meet the BPP needs of key industry players,' comments George Suzuki, president/ CEO. 'Our enhanced manufacturing capacity and ability to meet the increasing demands of diverse customers in the fuel cell industry is expected to continue to drive our expansion.' Pacific Fuel Cell is a nanotechnology company committed to producing fuel cell components with reduced cost and higher performance in the portable, stationary and micro fuel cell markets. Its products include low-and high-temperature BPPs, compression-molded BPPs for highvolume customers, and pressed plates using a CNC process for low-volume customers.
