Summary: Donors with low hemoglobin levels have to be excluded from the blood donation service for 3 months. So, in theory haemoglobin concentration of all total blood units is suitable for preparation the good quality basic units. If we systematically check the quality of the basic units, we can avoid or repair the technical faults of production.
