✦ Synopsis
p, r, T ) measurements at given temperatures and densities in the supercritical region for trifluoromethane were carried out with a metal-bellows variable volumometer at eleven densities from 400 kg•m -3 to 625 kg•m -3 along seven isotherms between T = 310 K and T = 350 K. The experimental uncertainties of temperature T, density r, and pressure p were estimated to be 8=5 mK=, =0.0010•r =, and =0.0010•p =, respectively. The behaviour of the isothermal compressibility and that of the pressure coefficient at constant temperature on the basis of the present results are illustrated as a function of pressure.
