✦ Synopsis

The time-dependent spectral shift of the DMABN charge-transfer state emission, due to dipolar interaction with the polar solvent, has been studied by wavelengthqesolved decay measurements. The spectral relaxation has been found to be exponential and the time constants of the process have been determined for various solvents and temperatures.
