✦ Synopsis
T,-variations due to cation substitution and oxygen nonstoichiometry in TISr,(Ca,.+Lu,)Cu,O,are investigated. with increasing x from 0 to 1.0, the system changes from a nonsuperconducting normal metal to a semiconductor, via a 90-K superconductor. Oxygen nonstoichiometry causes dramatic changes in superconductivity. 7, of the oxygen-annealed sample is increased by Ar reduction for tiO.6, while it is decreased for x=0.8. These resutts indicate that the carrier concentration becomes optimum at around x=0.7 for oxygenated samples.
