✦ Synopsis

The electrochemical properties of molten tin(H) chloride depend on oxoacidity and the corresponding E"'/p02-diagram at 523 K is given. The latter was obtained by coupling voltammetric and potentiometric results with thennoehemical data at the same temperature. Consequently, hchaviour of electrochemical cells involving this melt is explained.
