Oxidation of Tetracyanonickellate (11) in the Presence of Organic Cation A new material (TMPD),Ni(CN),Io.5 . H,O has been prepared (TMPD = N,N,N',N'tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine). The solution and mull absorption spectra in the infrared range indicate the presence of the redox process TMPD+ + TMFD2+ and tetracyanonickellate (IV) units.
