✦ Synopsis

This paper is concerned with the problem of evaluating the outcomes of comparing alternatives in repeated decision making under uncertainty. In order to apply the ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator to this problem, we propose to update the weights each time the decision maker obtains additional information on environmental behavior, such as feedback and finite number of probabilistic distributions. An attempt was made to develop an algorithm of OWA weigh correction in case of decision making under risk and ignorance, assuming that the decision maker sets up a preference relation on state of nature set. Also a new approach to OWA weights calculation is suggested based on the assumption that weights form a geometric progression, which is increasing for a risky decision maker and decreasing for a nonrisky one.
