โฆ Synopsis
Conditions are given for underdamped or overdamped linear dynamical systems in terms of loop matrix parameters, (~(C)R-/(C)g,g)* 5 4(~/(C)L~/(C)g.,@ for all IJg(l = 1, g E H. These criteria are looked upon as natural generalizations of the elementary one-loop RLC series scalar criteria (R/2L)* 5 l/LC, when written in the more suggestive form:
(d(C)Rd(C))2 5 4X@)Ld/(C).
A simplified test for determining dynamical systems with all complex natural modes or all real modes are presented with additional comments.

A new approach to solving linear ill-posed problems is proposed. The approach consists of solving a Cauchy problem for a linear operator equation and proving that this problem has a global solution whose limit at infinity solves the original linear equation.
