In this paper, we address the problem of semiglobal robust output regulation for a general class of single-input, single-output nonlinear systems. The proposed solution does not require the assumption of input-to-state stability of the zero-dynamics of the plant. The design method is based on a clas

โฆ Synopsis
The problem of controlling the output of a system so as to achieve asymptotic tracking of prescribed trajectories and/or asymptotic rejection of disturbances is one of the most fundamental problems in control theory. In linear system theory, a powerful approach to the solution of this problem is the design of a controller incorporating an internal model of all exogenous inputs. The extension of this approach to nonlinear systems has been thoroughly investigated in the past 10 years. The purpose of this paper is to review the major achievements in this area as well as to outline the major problems on which the research is presently progressing.

## Abstract In this paper, a new formulation of fault detection and estimation algorithm has been presented for a class of known nonlinear dynamic systems with a linear output structure. Under certain assumptions on the nonlinear dynamics of the system and its model uncertainty, an adaptive observe
The purpose of this paper is to examine the problem of controlling a linear discrete-time system subject to input saturation in order to have its output track (or reject) a family of reference (or disturbance) signals produced by some external generator. It is shown that a semi-global framework, rat
In this paper we synthesize nonlinear state feedback controllers for locally stabilizing linear systems with both saturating actuators and additive disturbances when the output must track a certain reference level. The objective is to bring the steady-state error due to disturbances to zero by using
