✦ Synopsis

We have investigated c-axis dissipation in single crystals of Bi&,CaCu,Os in the mixed state. We find that the c-axis DC electrical resistivity pc depends strongly on the magnitude and orientation of the magnetic field. Variations in pe are interpreted within the framework of different dissipation mechanisms.
