✦ Synopsis

The e ect of the interelectron interaction and the temperature on the dependence of the electrochemical capacitance C of a one-dimensional ballistic ring on both the magnetic ux and the reservoir electrochemical potential is considered. It is shown that the e ect of the temperature on the dependence C ( ; ) can be used to detect a non-Fermi-liquid behaviour of an electron system.

We present a joint experimental and theoretical study of the non-linear optical (NLO) spectroscopy of correlated r-electrons in a conjugated polymer. Spectra of two NLO coefftcients, the third harmonic generation efficiency (THG) and two-photon absorption (TPA) cross-section, are reported using poly

We study the ground state properties of the one-dimensional extended-Hubbard-Kondo model at quarter-filling. This model captures the essential feature of the p-d system of organic conductors where the strongly correlated electrons interact with localized S ΒΌ 1 2 spins to bear interesting physics. It
