Several oscillation criteria are given for the second-order damped nonlinear differential
where a > 0 is any quotient of odd integers, a 6 C(R, (0,~)), p(t) and q(t) are allowed to change sign on [t0,c~), and f E CI(R,R) such that xf(x) > 0 for x :~ 0.
