✦ Synopsis
The present paper contains a new concept of estimating mean health costs per head. The main idea is a modification of the method of least square using weights. The costs per head by consideration depend both of the life age and the year of calculation. Corresponding weight results from the observed relative frequency of the actual number of policyholders. Especially, one section is devoted to the estimation of health costs per head by linear models. Different special (linear and non-linear) models are discussed in a further section. The paper ends by giving remarks for applications and examples based on test-statistics in a special private health company.
