An X-ray analysis of compounds with the general formula Ba(M3+0.&b5+~.~)0~, where R P + is a rare earth, indium or iron ion, has shown that the critical percentage difference in radii necessary for ordering of the ME+ and niobium ions in the B sites of the perovskite structure lies between 7 and 17%
