✦ Synopsis

We present a quantitative method which allows a microscopic check of the standard order-disorder model. The basic assumptions of the standard order-disorder model are quantitatively verified. The polarization, hysteresis loop, dielectric constant and specific heat for typical ferroelectrics are calculated.
