Initial permeability, crystalline anisotropy and magnetostriction have been measured on a single crystal of manganese-ferrous ferrite. The initial permeability shows a high disaccomodation, i.e. a decrease with time. This decrease can be as high as 95~o of the value immediately after demagnetisation
