Mixed Integer Linear Programming models are presented to develop a schedule for the mining of precious metal from available deposits. Alternate formulations and branch-andbound search strategies are discussed. LINGO was used to build and solve the models.

In this paper, we provide a systematic study of the task of sensor planning for object search. The search agent's knowledge of object location is encoded as a discrete probability density which is updated whenever a sensing action occurs. Each sensing action of the agent is defined by a viewpoint, a
The wireless sensor/actuator networks (WSANs) can be used for spatially distributed control systems. With smart sensors and actuators, the WSANs are able to not only sense the control system states and report measurements, but also perform control and actuation. This paper investigates WSANs on thei
