## Abstract A broadband microstrip‐fed printed antenna is proposed in this article. Simulations and experiments demonstrate that this structure exhibits a 36% impedance bandwidth with VSWR below 2:1. Antenna geometry and measured antenna characteristics are presented. Β© 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
