✦ Synopsis

Some assumptions are implicit in the traditional model used for studying the optimality properties of cross-over designs. Many of these assumptions might not be satisÿed in experimental situations where these designs are to be applied. In this paper, we modify the model by relaxing these assumptions and show a class of designs to be universally optimal under the modiÿed model.
