## Abstract **Summary:** Optically active polyanilines were prepared by an interfacial polymerization with (NH~4~)~2~S~2~O~8~ in a water/perchloric acid/chloroform system. The pristine polymer obtained in this way is in the oxidized (doped) form. The polymers display the mirrorβimage Cotton effect.
