โœฆ Synopsis

Optical return loss meter T he accumulated back re- flections at the measurement point in single-mode optical Iibre systems can be measured with the KI 5000 Optical Return Loss Meter from Fujikura Europe. This measurement is im-portant to transmission systems utilizing distributed feedback (DFB) lasers or transmitting analogue video and high speed digital signals. In these applications, excessive optical reflections cause loss of signal/noise performance and The optical return loss meter from Fujikura has an accuracy of typically + 0.5 dB, with a dynamic renge of up to 60 dB
