✦ Synopsis

We present results obtained with a setup designed for optical experiments on SHe below 1 inK. The entire optical system is placed inside the vaxuum can of a dilution refrigerator and does not require any windows except for those in the sample cell. It was used to obtain the first images of 3He crystals growing from the superfluid B phase.
