β¦ Synopsis
A new burn-probe sequence is utilized uith non-photochemical hole burning to study the optical dephasing of impurities in polymer films. For crcsyl violet in pol)?inyl alcohol the temperature dependence of dephasing is close to linear in the range studied. A burn time dependence of hole widths is observed and discussed.
