Abstract
It is wellโknown that an operator T โ L(E, F) is strictly singular if โฅT~x~โฅโงฮปโฅxโฅ on a subspace Z โ E implies dim Z < + โ. The present paper deals with ideals of operators defined by a condition โ โฅT~x~โฅโงฮปโฅxโฅ on an infiniteโdimensional subspace Z โ E implies Z โ F โ F being a โquasiโinjectiveโ๏ธ class of BANACH spaces.

This article deals with the LORENTZ-MARCINKIEWICZ operator ideal 2Eb, generated by an additive a-function and the LORENTZ-MARCINEIEWICZ sequence space Aq(p). We give eigenvalue distributions for operators belonging to B$b(E, E ) and we show the interpolation properties of Bt;-ideals. Furthermore, we
## Abstract A general procedure is given to get ideals in algebras of unbounded operators starting with ideals in โฌ๏ธ(โ๏ธ). Algebraical and topological properties of ideals obtained in this manner from the wellโknown symmetricallyโnormed ideals S~ฯ~(โ๏ธ) are described.
