โฆ Synopsis
We are pleased to announce that the Anatomical Record (AR) is fully compliant with the current open access policies of major funding agencies. Beyond that, most of the journal's content-including all regular papers, special issues, thematic papers, and reviews-is open access immediately upon publication, and all AR content is open access 1 year after publication. This important and comprehensive compliance extends the long-standing benefits of free color figures and pages to all authors.
As authors know, open access policies for the various public and private funding agencies have evolved rapidly during the past year, leading to confusion among authors who are funded by such agencies about how to comply with the new mandated policies. To help clarify the current situation, specific details about AR's full compliance with open access policies is outlined as follows.
