✦ Synopsis


Twenty three children with cerebral palsy, who were operated on upon before 1984, have been re-assessed. All the lower limb deformities were corrected in one surgical session. Review afier five years included foot-switch measurements and assessment of video recordings. There were no recurrences, and gait ability showed normal growthrelated development.

Tous avaient dtd opdrds en un temps pour correction de l'ensemble des dSformations qu'ils pr6sentaient. Une rdvision ~ 5 ans a dtd r~alisde en utilisant la mesure de l'amplitude du pas et l'dvaluation d'enregistrements viddo. On a pris note des rechutes et des opdrations compldmentaires. Il n 'y a pas eu de rechutes. Les possibilitds de marche ont augmentd normalement en fonction de la croissance. On en conclut que les opdrations justifides ne sont pas dangereuses pour ces enfants et que la chirurgie en un temps peut diminuer le taux de rechutes.
