## Abstract The temperature dependence of the thermoelectric power of strongly disordered alloys is studied describing phonons in alloys by a modified Chen‐Weisz‐Sher model. Within this model the thermopower can be calculated by means of Mott's formula. For the treatment of the disorder problem the
