โฆ Synopsis
The M u n k -P r i m substitution principle is extended to the case of the diabatic flow of a gas. F r o m this principle, a canonical system ol equations governing the flow is derived. Looking at the inverse problem, special forms of the heat addition function which simplify the equations are eonsidered.

The flow of an adiabatic gas through a porous media is treated analytically for steady oneand two-dimensional flows. The effect on a compressible Darcy flow by inertia and Forchheimer terms is studied. Finally, wave solutions are found which exhibit a cut-off frequency and a phase shift between pres
