β¦ Synopsis
The electron diffraction data of gaseous methyl vinyl ether shows, in agreement with recent spectroscopic investigations, that the compound exists in two conformations, the most stable one being the cis form. The second conformer has a non-planar heavy atom skeleton, and the angle between the C=C-0 and *the C-O-C planes (a) is in the range 80-llO". The energy difference is about 1.2 kcal/mole.

The polyaniline (PANI) dispersions have been prepared in acidic aqueous media by oxidative dispersion polymerization in the presence of a polymeric stabilizer. The polymeric stabilizer used in this study is the poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic acid) (PMVEMA) which contains acid groups (-COOH). The
## Abstract The living cationic random copolymerization of MVE and CEVE to obtain functionalized thermoβresponsive PMVE as precursors for more complex PMVEβcontaining polymer structures is reported. The random copolymers P(MVEβ__co__βCEVE) were synthesized at 0βΒ°C in toluene using the DEE/TMSI/ZnI~
