✦ Synopsis

We report the result of an analysis of the AHe e hypernucleus in a three-body model alphaneutron and hyperon A °. This analysis is carried out by a variational calculation using a trial radial wave function of the exponential form. For the description ofAHe e we used a Yukawa A-nucleon potential, an exponential potential ~-A given by Bodmer and Ali in a study of AHe s and the c~-n potential used in the phase-shift analysis of p-c~ scattering data.

The results of a variational calculation using those hypotheses is that the AHe e hypernucleus is bound by 2 MeV against decay into neutron+aHe 5.
