✦ Synopsis

The stability of stochastic chemical systems is considered. The definitions of almost sure stability and mean square stability and the corresponding stability theorems are presented and discussed. Examples concerning the stability of a two tank water heating system and a well-stirred reactor tank with random flows are studied in detail.
