โฆ Synopsis
A normal mode, stability analysis is applied to a spherically symmetric fluid system which contains a constant surface charge. The stability of the system is analyzed for the situation in which the electromagnetic mass is only a small fraction of the total mass and also for the situation in which the electromagnetic mass is the total gravitation mass. This latter situation corresponds to that of a Poincar&Lorentz fluid electron.
